Pam Sun, MPA MLS

Ms. Sun has more than 15 years of hands-on experience in clinical laboratory practices with exceptional knowledge of laboratory operations and supervision, testing systems and  instrument interface validation and implementation, process improvement initiatives, regulatory standards and accreditation process, resident education, and employee training and engagement. She has extensive background in Hematology with especial expertise in peripheral blood/bone marrow aspirate morphology. Ms. Sun is currently working as the Supervisor in the Central Laboratory at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center overseeing Hematology, Special Hematology, Special Coagulation, and several STAT satellite labs. Her recent accomplishments include successful implementation of an electronic documentation system as well as the design and implementation of new satellite laboratories. She has served as a CAP Inspector regularly. 

Ms. Sun earned her MPA in Healthcare Management Specialization from Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Administration at NYU and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Sciences from SUNY at Stony Brook.
